Who Is the Artist Collective For?
The Artist Collective is designed for NYC-based creatives who need professional production space but don’t need (or want) the commitment of a full-time studio lease. Our members include:
- Photographers who need controlled lighting and professional backdrops
- Podcasters seeking broadcast-quality acoustics in a dedicated recording environment
- Content creators building YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok brands
- Filmmakers in pre-production or shooting dialogue-heavy scenes
- Musicians recording acoustic sessions or music videos
- Voiceover artists using the isolated vocal booth
- Remote teams producing professional video content
All members get access to the same professional production studio used by corporate clients paying $300/hr — at a fraction of the cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade my membership tier later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Founding to Core or Pro at any time, subject to availability. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
What happens if a client books during my reserved time?
Client rentals always take priority. If this happens, we’ll notify you at least 24 hours in advance and offer you the next available slot at no additional cost. This is rare — most member sessions proceed as planned.
Can I bring guests to my sessions?
Core and Pro members receive guest passes (1 per month for Core, included in Pro). Founding members may purchase individual guest passes for $50 each. All guests must be accompanied by the member.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
The Artist Collective operates on a month-to-month basis. There is no long-term contract. We ask for 30 days’ notice before cancellation.
What’s included vs. what costs extra?
Everything listed under “What’s Included” is covered by your membership fee — sound, lighting, WiFi, kitchen, furniture. The only add-ons are: Sony FX6 camera access (Pro tier only), guest passes beyond your monthly allocation, and any catering or special event setup you may need.
