Interview Studio NYC — Sit-Down Filming in a Real Production Loft

Clean architectural setting. Broadcast-quality audio. Sony FX6. 30-year A/V operator. 873 Broadway, Suite 408 — the interview room that looks like a real room, not a corporate backdrop.

The Setup

What Makes This Different from a Green Screen Studio

A sit-down interview should look like it was filmed somewhere real. Union Square Loft is a working production loft at 873 Broadway — hardwood floors, 13-foot ceilings, cast-iron columns, 9-foot windows. The room provides depth, texture, and architectural interest that no portable backdrop can replicate.

The A/V chain is broadcast-grade: Sony FX6 full-frame cinema camera, Soundcraft UI24R 24-track digital mixer, DJI wireless mic kits, Fulcrum Acoustics monitoring for real-time audio QC. Carlos Montoya operates every session — no assistant, no handoff.

Interview Session Rate: 2 hrs $350/hr · 4 hrs $300/hr · 8 hrs $275/hr · All gear included · Carlos Montoya operating

Executive interviews, CEO messages, HR videos, earnings commentary. Professional look without the overhead of a full production house. BYOB corporate video — you bring the script, Carlos brings the production quality.

Two-camera interview setups for video podcast production. Guest and host positions lit and framed. Full audio via wireless mics to 24-track mixer. Same room as the podcast studio — book together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Interview Studio Questions

Can we do a two-camera interview setup?

Yes. The Sony FX6 is the primary camera. A secondary camera can be positioned for cutaway angles. Carlos manages both setups and the audio chain. Multi-camera available at the standard production rate.

What microphone options are available?

DJI wireless lapel mic kits for both host and guest. Boom mic available for overhead placement. All signals run through the Soundcraft UI24R for clean isolated tracks. Audio quality meets broadcast standard.

Is the background customizable?

The room provides natural architectural backgrounds — hardwood, brick, window light, studio elements. Portable backdrops can be set up if needed. Most productions choose the room itself as background.

Can we edit here or return for pickups?

Pickups and additional shooting sessions are booked at the same rate. Remote Producer Feed add-on (+$100) is available for clients who want a remote director or client on-call during the shoot.
