How much does gear rental cost in NYC at Union Square Loft?

Production studio with all gear and operator: $350/hr for 2hr, $300/hr for 4hr, $275/hr for 8hr. Sony FX6 with Carlos operating is a +$150/hr add-on. Outside gear rental (FX6 only, no studio): $300/day. XDJ-XZ DJ controller: $275/day outside, $200/session in-studio.

What camera gear is available for rental?

Sony FX6 cinema camera is available in-studio (included in rate, Carlos operating) and as an outside rental at $300/day. The Hasselblad 500CM medium format is available as an in-studio add-on only — not for outside rental.

Is an operator included in the gear rental rate?

Yes — Carlos Montoya operates all in-studio gear for every booking. The studio rate includes the operator. No self-serve inside the studio. Outside rentals (FX6 at $300/day, XDJ-XZ at $275/day) ship without operator.

Can I rent the Speedotron lighting system?

Speedotron is in-studio only, operated by Carlos — not available for outside rental. Safety protocol: no client access to Speedotron packs. Call to discuss if you need high-power strobe for your session.

Is there a deposit for outside gear rentals?

Yes. Deposit required for FX6 and XDJ-XZ outside rentals. Amount confirmed at time of booking. Call Carlos directly at 212-529-7570 to discuss.
