13-foot ceilings. Full pro gear. BYOB always. Carlos in the room. One block from Union Square. If you’re making something real in NYC — this is your studio.
Every other studio at 873 Broadway is run by a business. Union Square Loft is run by Carlos Montoya — a 30-year creative, former TEDx Bushwick executive producer, someone who’s been part of NYC’s underground creative scene since the 90s. He built the room himself. He runs the sessions himself. He’s in the room when you’re shooting.
Capsule is polished. Home Studios has the reception desk. We have Carlos. And Carlos actually knows what you’re trying to make, cares that it works, and won’t make you feel like you don’t belong in a professional space.
BYOB always. No corkage. No required vendors. No minimum spend beyond the hourly rate. Bring your crew, your drinks, your vision. Everything else is already here.
“The studio that’s been real since before ‘content creator’ was a job title.”

Yes. Genuinely. Carlos Montoya has been part of NYC creative culture since the 90s. He is one of you — not a front desk person managing bookings. Emerging creators, micro influencers, first-time video creators, indie musicians — all welcome, all treated identically to major brand clients. The room has seen everything. Your project belongs here.
Yes. Always. No corkage fee. No approved vendor list. No questions. Bring your own beverages, bring your own caterer, bring whoever you want. This is the most BYOB-casual studio in the building. That’s the point.

With a clear shot list, a 4-hour session can produce 10–20 distinct pieces of content across multiple backgrounds, outfits, and setups. A 2-hour session handles 3–6 looks comfortably. Come with a plan; Carlos helps you execute it fast.
